As Fall approaches, the day drastically becomes shorter, which for the working athlete poses a huge problem. I guess, starting now, i am going to slow down on riding the bike, and start working on the old cardiovascular system with some short hard runs! I even thought about about doing the Charlotte marathon in December.... Any challenge makes for an awesome day.
It is sad that racing season has come to an end. All the pushing, all the wrecks, flat tires and broken shoulders of the season will surely be missed. I guess now is the best time to work on form, endurance and strength, but as any person who has ever had a job knows, it is so difficult to really apply yourself after that 5 o'clock hour!
With it being 4 o'clock now, i guess now is the best time to say, i will be going for my run soon. I think 3- 5 miles should do me for now! besides, i have my heated Yoga class in the morning, and that 105 degree room, for an hour and a half always kicks my butt!
For now i will say farewell
